| GETTING STARTED
As a mother, I have
enjoyed watching my daughter gain the same benefits from
learning the Math Pentathlon games as my students did in
the classroom. She has gained confidence in her math ability
and I have noticed a big difference in her critical thinking
and problem solving skills. My son can't wait until he gets
to learn the games when he is in Kindergarten.

Students
learn the five Mathematics Pentathlon games within the appropriate
grade level-based divisions (K-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7). The rules are
described in each of the four Division Manuals. Adventures in
Problem-Solving Activity Book I (K-3) and Activity Book II (4-7)
connect the games with on-going classroom instruction. Prerequisite
skills for playing the games as well as many other problem-solving
activities are described in an easy to follow format. Investigation
Exercises Book I (K-3) and Book II (4-7) provide problem solving
worksheets that develop a more analytic focus and greater insight
into the multiple strategies of each game. For
